For over 15 years, we have been advising, developing, and implementing innovative solutions.
We support our clients in the areas of ICT, BMS, and SaaS, creating unique workplaces at our Zermatt location.
Oliver Borter and Adrian Perren were already involved in smaller projects long before the founding of WND, starting with web design and domain registrations.
In 1998, Adrian registered the domain www.Web-Net-Design.ch, which is considered the original idea behind the current company.
Together, they further developed this idea, and in 2004, the vision of Web Net Data emerged, accompanied by the registration of the domain wnd.ch, which corresponds to Oliver Borter's present-day company.
What started in the circle of friends and acquaintances gradually gains momentum, and Oli's innovative solutions start to become known.
The first professional projects for businesses are implemented.
These include website development, ISDN high-speed installations, the implementation of a telephone system, and a VOIP project.
The growing demand in the ICT sector and the increasing requirements made a professional structure indispensable.
The decision was made to take the step into self-employment and establish WND AG (Web Net Data).
By building its own fiber-optic and network infrastructure, WND AG laid the foundation for its provider business. Since then, we have been delivering reliable internet, TV, and VoIP services – offering high-performance connectivity to customers throughout the region, from hotels and commercial properties to multi-family residential buildings.
An important part of WND are the employees who shape the future with us.
The growing workload allowed us to employ three staff members within just one year, of whom incidentally two still work with us today.
Always at the cutting edge and constantly innovating.
In addition to the popular solutions such as internet, hosting and telephony, special solutions are developed to meet individual customer needs.
For example, topographical conditions require solutions to access remote locations such as mountain huts. What may not be profitable or too complex for others is naturally part of our customer-centric approach. This leads to the implementation of the first directional radio installations.
We have long known that the future of building control lies in intelligent networking – not only for private households but also for the hospitality industry and commercial enterprises.
As early as 2015, we implemented our first smart projects and established Loxone as the central solution for modern building automation.
Based on a specific customer need, we installed televisions with interactive software for the first time – another step towards offering cutting-edge technologies and user-friendly solutions.
Our company successfully established itself in the market, impressing with services that optimally meet our customers' needs.
By 2016, our team had grown to seven employees – another milestone in our development.
At WND AG, we place great importance on providing young people with an exciting and successful start to their professional careers and on fostering the skilled workers of tomorrow for our industry.
In 2018, we trained our first apprentice. Since then, we have continuously been training apprentices in the professions of IT specialist, building IT specialist, and media technician.
The TV software used since 2015 was unable to meet all the requirements and objectives of our company. Therefore, we began developing our own interactive TV software.
Thanks to the expertise of our in-house software development team, the MYWND TV software was created and is now successfully in use.
The company continues to experience growth, not only in terms of increasing staff numbers, now totaling 16, but also in the need for additional logistical space.
This necessitated the establishment of a new office. An optimal solution was found with the location at Bachstrasse 72 in Zermatt, where we are currently situated.
It's already been 10 years since the official founding of the company - a reason to celebrate for us and our customers.
A success that would not have been possible without our loyal employees and customers. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has accompanied and supported us on this journey.

To celebrate the anniversary, we offered special promotions and project discounts in 2023 for our loyal customers. Our team celebrated this milestone with a long weekend and extensive outings.
To meet the growing demand and embrace forward-looking technologies, we have expanded our expertise in building automation and established the Building Management Systems (BMS) department. This allows us to offer comprehensive solutions for the intelligent control, monitoring, and optimization of modern building infrastructure – from hotels and commercial buildings to multi-family residences and smart homes.
Our Guest App, developed by our own team, was created to meet the digital needs of guests and hosts while providing a modern guest journey. The app is based on an extension of our TV software and is managed through the same CMS.
Good things come to those who wait.
After a lengthy process, we have obtained approval for our electric car.
This finally puts an end to the laborious transports with the bicycle trailer in all weather conditions.
Our new, loyal companion not only meets local requirements but also offers numerous comforts such as air conditioning, navigation, finest leather seats, a spacious cargo area and of course, a powerful battery.
After being certified as a Gold Partner, following numerous projects and hard work, we are proud to now count ourselves among the few official representatives in Switzerland and the only Platinum Partner.
We are proud to plan, install, and maintain complex building automations of all kinds across our entire product range.
To remain mobile even outside of Zermatt, we have expanded our fleet with two environmentally friendly Teslas.
